Renowned designer and serial entrepreneur Carlos Segura has a new Nonsek remix channel called Peepod based on his dingbat font of the same name.
“The idea came from a simple glance at the obvious. With nothing to do while taking care of ‘business,’ being aware of my surroundings has always turned into a positive. In this case, looking at the urinal filters gave birth to a set of dingbats.”
Look around (or down, even). Ideas are everywhere. Seriously. Everywhere!
After careful and considered review of more than 2,300 entries, the 2010 jury of “365: AIGA Annual Design Competitions 31” selected a group of 126 examples of outstanding design produced in 2009. And Nonsek is “there!” We are honored and humbled to be included. We’ll be in a book and a traveling show and in the archives and stuff! Schweet!
