Nonsek natters on about cross-pollination… and along comes this collaborative mixed-media piece by LA’s Clayton Brothers featuring a bee keeper in the midst of a canvasful of objective and stylistic incongruities. And if that’s not referential enough, there’s an actual blender in the scene. Once again, literal and figurative get all up in each other’s grills.
