What’s so special about Nonsek?
Glad you asked! Nonsek is all about Graphic Remix! Recombining, reinvigorating, remixing words and images in our Nonsek Machine to create altogether fresh, new, art that you can print onto quality wearables and other unique products.
What’s a Nonsek Machine?
It’s like a psychedelic graphic remix machine with infinite art images. More specifically, the Nonsek Machine is a random image compiler that generates compelling art remixes with a simple click of a button. You don‘t like what you see? Click again. It doesn‘t cost anything, and it doesn’t hurt one bit! Trust us, you’ll hit on an “OMG I gotta have it graphic remix!” in no time. And when you do, we‘d suggest that you save it to your cart (you can always remove it later), or risk losing it forever ! You see, there‘s a KAJILLION-TO-ONE chance (give or take) that the same combination will ever spin up again. Where does the art on Nonsek come from?
Our ever-growing roster of Nonsek Artists are the most amazingest designers, illustrators and creatives in the art-culture world today. Each artist brings a uniquely rich story and style to the Nonsek remix concept. Their art is DOPE! DOPER remixed! DOPEST on your fresh new tee!

Really? One-in-a-kajillion?
Yes — give or take! Any remix that we print onto a t-shirt for you is “print to order.” That means one at a time, baby! So, unless you order several of the same remix (to outfit your championship cornhole team, for instance), it is likely that you just purchased a dang-near-one-of-a-kind t-shirt by your favorite Nonsek Artist — unlike any other in the world!
What is this Print-to-Order business you mentioned?
We use a direct digital printing method that enables us to print one tee at a time, as it’s ordered, using a Nonsek-specific process that faithfully reproduces the remixes generated by our Nonsek Machine. Your rare and custom remixes are printed and shipped directly to your door, lickity-split!
What about the print itself, how does that work?
The image has a matte finish that moves with the t-shirt because the ink is actually embedded in the fabric. This makes for the most comfortable and most durable tees around, anywhere! Our tees wash and wear great, with no cracking, transfer lines or rubbery ink layers.
What kind of T-shirts do you use?
We use Anvil products. Most important to us, Anvil and Nonsek have like minded social responsibility beliefs. Anvil states this. That the demand for products made by companies guided by a higher social and environmental philosophy has never been stronger. More and more, customers insist on enlisting suppliers who share their values. Anvil is clear in its statement of and commitment to those values, and because of that, offers a unique opportunity not only from a product and price point of view, but from a social and environmental one as well. How should I care for my T-shirt?
That depends. Our images are designed to take on a comfortable, vintage look with the first washing. If that’s what you’re after, then machine wash and dry, no special treatment necessary. If you prefer a brighter image, turn the tee inside out, wash it in cold water, and line dry. If you want the tee to look exactly as it did when it came off the press, then don’t ever wash it - or wear it, for that matter.
I want a T-shirt color I don’t see on the site. Are there other options?

We value the free exchange of ideas. But this is a public website, designed for users of all ages and sensibilities (well, most sensibilities). If we come across a comment we find profane or offensive, we reserve the right to delete it. We have no intention of being heavy-handed in that regard... but we do intend to keep things civil.

Tell me more about Nonsek: The Company.
Nonsek is a division of Brand P located in lovely Madison, Wisconsin. Brand P is engaged in consulting, licensing, marketing and providing trend direction for a diversified and growing consumer brand portfolio. The original art content on Nonsek.com is owned by the participating artist partners presented there. Nonsek is the exclusive distributor of the remixed art content provided by the participating artists. Nonsek takes intellectual property rights seriously. Nonsek has a detailed patent strategy and is pursuing patent protection for various aspects of the Nonsek Machine. That is just fancy lingo for, “we will hunt you down if you jack with our stuff!”
