Automatic Art and Design is the studio of designer/illustrator Charles Wilkin. Automatic was established in 1994 on Wilkin’s belief that personal expression is an essential and integral part of the design process. By blending elements of art, design and commerce together Wilkin is able to rely on instinct rather than expectation as a means to engage the viewer on a more emotive level.
The result is a unique and somewhat unconventional approach to design which has earning Automatic national and international recognition. Charles Wilkin was born in Buffalo, New York and now lives and works in New York City. He is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.
